下午在DB server上跑cvsup, make world完後重開機卻發現DB開不起來.
log裡出現這一段

080121 15:07:01 [ERROR] /usr/local/libexec/mysqld: unknown variable 'defaults-extra-file=/home/mysql/my.cnf'

080121 15:07:01  mysqld ended

查了一下google,似乎沒有看到很明顯的答案,
於是又仔細翻了翻man page (man mysqld_safe)
又發現man有講到
--
If you execute mysqld_safe with the --defaults-file or  --defaults-extra-option option to name an option file, the option must be the first one given on the command line or the option file will not be used.

嗯...原來要把defaults-extra-file參數放在最前面...
